Anyone who plays the lottery knows that it all depends on the right numbers at the right time. Now more than ever, it is important not just to wait for the right numbers, but to do something at the right time.

One of the biggest challenges is, for example, the pollution of the oceans, rivers and lakes. An estimated 150 million tonnes of plastic are already in our oceans, and every year more than 10 million tonnes are added to this.

With the new Lottoland Foundation we want to give something back to people, animals and the environment. One of our current projects, for example, is to support the maritime waste collection of “One Earth – one Ocean”.

With our donation to the innovative ocean clean-up organisation One Earth – One Ocean e.V. we have helped clean 3km of estuary, created 7 new jobs, removed 80 tonnes of plastic waste, and removed more than 250 tonnes of waste, oil, and chemicals before it reached our oceans.

In addition, our continuous commitment will be directed towards social projects and innovative ideas. For our projects and measures we are always looking for new, innovative partners and socially relevant institutions as well as committed individuals who want to work and live by our motto: “For a better world!”

In specific terms, the Lottoland Foundation will support innovative projects and initiatives in Germany and worldwide to improve environmental and animal protection.
